A Technical Question (real n00b here, sorry)

I noticed how you've managed to isolate certain words, so that you can click onto them to take them to a different section of your story.
Can I be cheeky and ask how you did that?
I can do it with pictures, where you click onto the picture and it takes you into a section of the forum.
Does the same principal apply?
If not, is there a special code you need in order to do that?
Any help would be totally appreciated, thanks.
Sorry for being a pain, only had the computer 2.5 years and just getting around all the different things that can be done.
