Vash's hair

I really don't have a lot of medium-short hair I like. 
I only found one that I really would consider using on him. But I will have to settle on something while he's in the growing-out phase, if I ever want to get to long hair with him.
What do you think? Or should I just leave old Vash as he is, hiding his lovely green eye behind his hair?
Also, I forgot how much I love Vash's nose. He would have made gorgeous kids.

I definitely vote for a change of hairstyle, though. The one in the first three pics is great especially when the sim moves forward, since it curves back a little. Looks a little weird when the sim stands still, but nothing camera angles can't hide.
Have you tried looking for hair at Sims Artist Union? They have a few that are... still short but could be considered "growing out".

I usually try to stick to mts2 / Peggy / Rose / XMSims because that way I have a slight chance of remembering if someone asks me where I got a hair, but I think I have found some at Sim Artist Union already.
That curve is the only thing that makes me hesitate with that first hair. It really sticks out from the face quite a bit on the right side of his head. But nothing I can't shoot around, I suppose.

If I had a better texture

So many of my other characters are using more photo-like and less painted-like hair now that Vash's hair looks kind of fake to me. Paul's new hair really made me start looking farther afield for hair. I still stop and goggle over his ear being faintly visible through his pale hair...
Anyway, back to Vash, if I am wanting to change his hairstyle I think this is the perfect time to do it, since Vash himself may be changing somewhat in the future. A new look would mesh nicely with that. Also his father has super-long hair so maybe there is some ritual fashion for rulers that requires it. Maybe it's about time Vash got around to growing his hair out i.e. accepting his future role.
By the way, the last hair picture up there was a joke.
I thought the merest glimpse of a mullet is so hilarious that it would be obvious, but I just want to reassure everyone that no elf will be getting a mullet on my watch.

So he has full right to change. I think this emo air is ... well emo and make him look like a pseudo-mysterious teen that he is no more. He's now an adult and this new hair will suit him perfectly. I thought about doing a poll, but I didn't want to distract from the more important question of what to do about Vash himself. Also, if I did a poll, I would feel obliged to choose the hair that the most people chose, which might not be my favorite.
