The thing with Sigefrith is that he just isn't all sexy and smoldering like some of the other guys. (Including -- at least in the picture in your avatar -- young Sigefrith.)
Sigefrith is goofy and funny and a good king, but he doesn't make many readers swoon. I too, however, would like to have a beer with him.
Also some people do find that his relationship with a 14-year-old girl was a little bit disturbing. But it may have been perfectly acceptable in the 11th century.
Good luck with the last 3 years. You do realize that 1085 alone has about as many chapters as the first 10 years combined? And it isn't done yet?
