Verity wants to know where I got the floor bed I used in "Cian tells his first bedtime tale". [image] I thought there was no way I would remember, but it looked sort of Sims-in-Paris-y and -- what do you know? -- it was. It's their Bedroom 2, so click Downloads and select the second bedroom.

With that out of the way, I would just like to add that floor beds tend to be problematic for picture-taking. (If the Sim is really in the bed... as Verity guessed, Cian and Eithne happen to be lying dazed on the floor with the bed moved on top of them.) Aside from the broken getting-in and getting-out animations, I have had problems with lighting. It seems that, by moving the bed down, they have moved down the point that determines where the lighting is coming from... down beneath the floor. At least that's my explanation. My floor beds tend to go very dark, and sometimes the people that climb into them too, and I haven't fiddled much with the problem to try to make it go away. (Maybe put lighting in the room below?)

Your bed of leaves rings a bell... I don't think it was me, either, even though I made Aengus and Lena lie on a bed of leaves. [image] I cheated on that one, though... I made them lie on a bed , then put a bunch of leaves on top of invisible tables that were higher than bed level. I made the floor come up to the bed! Obviously that won't work in every situation.

Most of the time I do the invisible bed trick, and then just use tricky camera angles to make it sort of look like they are on the floor. For example, Lena and Vash on the rug in "Lena is spoken to". I got the wonderful floaty effect too. A very unsatisfactory solution, I know.
