I adore that set of Schuldig's. I would probably use it a lot more, except that it's sorted to the very end of my list of eyes in the game, so usually when I'm scrolling through in search of eyes, I find something before then. But in the case of Sigefrith, Leof, and Cedric, I needed hazel eyes, and those were by far the best I've found.

Still, I like having the variety. It is amazing what a difference different eyes can make in a person's appearance and expression. That is why I tried to pick eyes that were as close as possible to the originals... if you look at Gwynn's (and Alred's, etc.) you can hardly tell the difference... the new ones are just a little deeper and more realistic, but they don't change her face.

Conrad's are a bigger change, but there was always something so glassy and doglike about his previous eyes. In fact, I was going through my eyes and deleted them without knowing anyone was using them, and I had to hurry back and change his eyes to a new set.

I added notes above to show what eyes everyone was using. (Except Caedwulf -- I need to double-check his but I think they are the same as Sir Sigefrith's.) Those eyes by Anva are absolutely beautiful, but they are all shifted slightly up, which makes the Sim appear to be looking up at you from under his lashes. That can appear either seductive -- as with Sir Sigefrith and (if you don't find him smarmy, that is) Caedwulf -- or dim-witted -- as with Blocky. So unfortunately I probably won't be using them a lot because they make a huge impression on you either way, and really could go a long way to defining a character. Like Blocky with his bull-doggish sullenness.

I don't think I'm going to change the eyes of too many Sims that have reasonably realistic eyes. That includes Barcelonista's for example. If necessary I will add sclera, but as I said, changing the eyes can change the appearance a lot, and I don't want anyone to change too dramatically. I made an exception for Sigefrith and Caedwulf, but they were the first two I replaced, and I probably won't go so dramatic any more. I will probably only change the eyes that look either really glassy / doll-like / dog-like such as Conrad's or Egelric's, or look really flat and painted-on, like the older eyes by Helaene.

If you're looking for eyes, another set that is really nice is Serenity by dragonmandy. They are a wee bit sparkly/glittery, but if you're OK with that they're gorgeous. I am planning to use them freely on elves and other somewhat magical sparkly beings. Staring with Iylaine since I "accidentally" deleted her eyes too. Otherwise my favorite sets at the moment tend to be Schuldig's, LaPink's, exnem's, and Anva's, roughly in that order.
