Did anyone ever hear some type of song or see a movie that made you immediately think of Lothere? It shows how obsessed I am when I made a connection listening to my playlist.
Did anyone ever hear of the song "When You Were Young"- The Killers before? In the song, the main character is remembering her first real flame, who happened to be a smooth-talking, unstable man. He's described as the anti-Jesus but he has a extensive vocabulary, which gives me a mild-mannered on the edge biker. Now that you sorta know the song, does anyone pop up, an old, slightly forgotten couple?
If you guessed Egelric/Gunnie, congrats! you're about as nutsy as I am. Because Gunnie was about 16 when she fell in love with him, she probably looks back at that time in her life as pretty sweet. Even though Egelric's messed up now, doesn't mean Gunnie still thinks he's the strong bad-assed man of her dreams, remember she's having a sorta uncomfortable marriage (at least to me...) so she's probably gonna be thinking about him now that he's single again....
Oh and I just saw monty python about two seconds ago and I know she the smelt of elderberries reference Alfred made when he was talking to Sebastien. hehehehehe
Anyone else have a brain storm about Lothere outside of Lothere?

I think that it may be because I think of Lothere every time I see William Shatner (considering that whole mirror world thing).

Submitted by Lothere on Sun, 10/26/2008 - 10:21.That deserves a special place all its own. That was so... disorienting seeing my "name" everywhere...
I do wish she had explained the significance of the name. I did pick it almost randomly out of a list of "Anglo-Saxon names".
And surely -- surely -- she has found this site. That must be rather disorienting for her.
Lothere #2, this is for you:
In the Kingdom of Lothere, Sigrid makes bunnies cry.

Submitted by PenelopetheFox on Sun, 10/26/2008 - 11:58.I guess we could always ask her why she chose the name. She seems to be into fantasy literature ergo I think she'd probably appreciate this site.
My favorite part was when she posted the lyrics to that Meredith Brooks song.

Submitted by PenelopetheFox on Sun, 10/26/2008 - 20:23.So uhhh my cursor happened to linger over one of the dancing bunnies and I completely loled when the little "Cearbunny" text box popped up. I don't even know why that was so funny.

You know how when you say "hello there" you kinda just say " 'lothere"? That's pretty much where I got the idea. This is weird. Apparently my internet name is also the name of a kingdom. Go figure. Anyway. Just thought you'd like to know.

Well not about this, but I think I remembered telling either you Pen or Lothere (1) about how me and my reading buddies were discussing how Lothere was pronounced and I was the one that said, "Hey guys, maybe Lothere is said like... Lo' there!" And yay someone had the same train of thought.

Submitted by PenelopetheFox on Sat, 06/13/2009 - 14:34.Today I walked into a board game store (because my bf is a secret nerd) and they had a game on sale called "The Settlers of Catan". And I snickered.
