Submitted by Cearbhaill on Tue, 08/26/2008 - 14:42.I really like getting the POV of a character that doesn't have a real voice (er, as in a human/elf voice). I have always found myself curious about what's going on in the minds of beings that can't communicate in the same way I do (as a matter of fact, one of my new favorite books is a favorite of mine because of this). I can see how it COULD become tedious and overdone, but given what I know about the story thus far, I can't imagine you would make use of it to the point where it would get that way. You're all about doing what needs to be done to further the story, so you're not going to use the animal points of view unless it serves a distinct purpose.
