I should add that this storyline has nothing to do with Aia or with Vash or with Lar & Co., so if you're holding out hope of seeing any of those elves soon, this poll won't affect them either way.

I don't know how relevant this is but is anyone out looking for Druze?

It is kinda related.

Finn told Vash he had followed Druze until they had gotten lost deep in the tunnels -- basically the same thing that happened when Druze kidnapped Iylaine, except they went much, much deeper. So the elves know that much.

Did he tell Vash or Osh or anyone that Lar found him/saved him? I am not sure about that. Not only did Lar threaten him if he did, that whole interlude just confused the poor boy all the more. He has grown a bit wary and secretive now he knows that his elven family lied to him about a lot of things (must be the Egelric coming out in him). He has to process the confusing information that Lar looks so much like his elven father's best friend Dru, and his real father's foster son Gils looks so much like Lar. And that the mysterious, evil ass-licking dog-elf Lar is actually tall and noble-looking and has a not insignificant amount of magic. Which is not what the khírrón propaganda has taught him.

Maybe he told, maybe he didn't... I don't think I've committed myself either way. He is awfully fond of Osh and Paul and Vash and Rua. But he's Egelric's son after all, and when in doubt, Egelric clams up.

Anyway, even if he told (or even given the little we know he did tell), it's not certain the elves are actively looking for Druze. If you put the pieces together you can see that the tunnels the khírrón have access to are the same the kisór are just now beginning to explore. Remember when Vash found Druze with Iylaine in the tunnels he was all "What is this place?" The khírrón obviously don't go down there either.

Why now, since they know they exist? That's where it might get related to the big messy drama of this poll...

But in short, there was probably some half-hearted poking around for him after he went missing, but once Vin was found, they probably let that drop off. There are surely some elves who would be glad to see Druze go. He's unpredictable and stinky and creepy. They probably figure that as long as he's bopping around down in those tunnels, he can't do anyone any harm.

And if they know he can get to the kisór tunnels that way (which may depend on Finn having told them so, assuming he himself has put the pieces together -- he was half-starved after all) they may have just decided to let him go on a Druzian rampage and slay all the males once and for all if he can. Which he actually seemed to have intended to do before Lar tricked him.
