You know, I still have yet to read that series. But this is the time of year where I normally break out ye olde Anne of Green Gables dvds.

I always meant to reread the first one, but I suppose that's one of the million books I just never got around to opening.

I wonder what LMM would have thought of this? She got pissed at her publisher once or twice for publishing collections of short stories and other things she hadn't wanted them to, bundling them together and profiting from Anne Mania. Sounds like this is something she wanted to write though. Ooooh, LMM tackles "adultery, illegitimacy, misogyny, revenge, murder, despair, bitterness, hatred, and death"! My favorite topics!
Edit: That actually sounds like a tagline for the Egelric storyline, Parts I through VII.
