Larger Households

I just had some problems with the Larger Households-Hack by 5th LMNt at MTS. It seems as soon as I had more then 8 family members nearly all of them got stuck doing what they were doing, and it wont cancel out the interaction.
Now what I want to know is: Does anyone know something that may help? Because as far as I found I'm the only one who had this particular problem with that hack.
Or can you point me to another hack like that? The one by jordi would be perfect, but I can't find it anywhere.

Submitted by Van on Fri, 11/13/2009 - 13:45.Hmmm... I can't really help you with the hack, since I've never used it myself and never really looked into it, but do you have InSim? If so, you can move extra people onto the lot via the family adjuster, and just use the reproductive adjuster if you want your sims to have more kids after the eight people on the lot. I've had households with up to about fifteen people using this method, and the only problem I've had is that with so many Sims, the game runs kind of slow.
Of course, the hack will probably work better. Hopefully the fixed version works for you

I still don't know what caused the problem in the first place, but at least it's gone (for) now. What I did is simple. I noticed that only this family was affected and everyone of them but the mother, so I summoned all of them but her to another lot, made them move in with the family there, went back, summoned them again and made them move back in. It worked nicely! So far nothing broke, game is running smoothly and I'm happy! ^^
I still wish I knew what was the cause, but as long as it doesn't appear again... Maybe the problem was just that I had 2 sets of twins born within one day. Crazy, I know. Wasn't intentional. Well, one of them was (cheesecake anyone?
) but the other was spontaneous. 
The problems with pet pregnancies seem universal to these kind of hacks. Maybe there is some other check on them that these hacks don't overwrite or circumvent.
I haven't run into the problem personally, yet. I don't think I will, since I mostly use cristianlove's Pet Baby Creator.
Edit: Almost forgot something: Van, the fixed version was the one I had when the problem appeared. Sorry, if that wasn't clear enough before. And I already cheat so much with InSim, that I wanted to keep from doing it in this too. Otherwise I would want to start picking genders again.... ^^
