Eirik and Sigi! They had such a rough start, and their love is so true, honest, enduring and real. They bring out the best in each other. They are both such complex characters and I love to read them.

Do they have to be still together?

If dead couples count, then for me it has to be Alred + Matilda. They had problems as a couple, and they had problems as individuals, but they were so, so beautiful together. Even after Matilda's death their love lives on. (Which is sad for Hetty... )

If they have to be alive I would say... Eirik and Sigi too. I want to see Sigi running out into the surf to meet Eirik's ship!

You know me too well yes Egelric and Sela are my favorite couple. Angst, Passion, and Love is what comes to mind when I think of those two. Its ironic, their relationship reminds me of the relationships of my friends, who are a part of LGBT.

I am torn between Egelric/Lili and Alred/Matilda. Iylaine/Malcolm are also quite good.

I'll go for Alred/Matilda simply because I love those 2 together. The bedroom scenes especially always cracked me up.

Do people that aren't together yet count? I'm still hungering for Fwynn... Gaethaed is AWESOME but it's waywayway too early to get my hopes up for anything (like the living in a cave with 2.5 kids and a dog). I want Malonnie no matter how bad it turns out (I mean Malo+Connie, not Malcolm+Connie), and OMG I just thought of Myrrdimea (awesome and wrong!). But I guess my favorite existing couple is Caedgive (not quite sure how well that name worked out). Oh, Caedwulf, you oblivious idiot!

It's because they aren't resolved yet. I loved Malaine until they got boring (and then "broke up" ), loved Kat (okay, Cat+Kiv doesn't make for a good combo nickname; neither does Cat+Paul. Pat? Caul?) until they got boring, etc. I like Caedgive because I like stories about relationships involving someone oblivious. Especially when that someone is Caedwulf.

Myself, I think my favorite couple OF THE MOMENT isn't Sigi and Eirik either, because it's been so long since we've seen them together, and Eirik has been so not-nice lately. But Sigi and Eirik have so much Relationship Awesomeness saved up in the bank that they win out for me.

If it's favorite couple OF THE MOMENT then it's usually whoever I've written about most recently. So Gaethine + Aed! Malrua is pretty awesome too. But I am working on a Rua chapter right now, so no surprise there either.

As for Caedgive, I would have said "especially if that someone is Ogive."

I love the early Sigefrith

I love the early Sigefrith and Eadie chapters, especially those from Eadie's perspective. The adolescent longing and confusion is so lifelike and frankly adorable. And Sigefrith-in-love is so darn cute!

After Eadie caught the baby-rabies, though, things kind of went downhill for me ... but maybe, after Eadie's actions with Tidraed, they can embark upon a new chapter. Er, once other stuff calms down. One can always hope!

I also love Mouse and Wyn and can't wait to hear more from them. Those two really do enact out their own version of Pride and Prejudice. Cat and Paul are also personal favorites (geez, bet you didn't see that coming *points to avatar*), and Osh and Flann are so sweet together, it almost rots my teeth out. But they're fantastic, and what's a few dental bills between friends?

... Ok, maybe that was four couples ... do I really have to just pick one? Do I?
