This is going to seem really nitpicky, but Sir Malcolm is placed before his brother when you look at Gog or Maire's family page when technically Colban came out first. Hehe I guess it doesn't matter since they're twins, but I just noticed it when I went to look at his siblings and thought I'd point it out.

OR DID HE COME OUT FIRST???

Seriously, I wish there were a way I could fix that, but the only thing I could do is switch Malcolm's ID number with Colban's, and if I did that I would have to change it EVERYWHERE... all of his relationships, his chapters, his quotes, etc. So at this point we're stuck with it. (But it would be poetically right if Malcolm was actually first and there had been some confusion... or Grandma switching the babies for some reason best known to herself... Maybe Mother Eithne can confess on her deathbed!)

Submitted by Tiffany on Tue, 07/26/2011 - 07:07.Actually, the red cord babies in the Bible are named Perez and Zerah.
Genesis 38:
27 When the time came for Tamar to give birth, there were twins in her body.28 While she was giving birth, one baby put his hand out. The nurse tied a red string on his hand and said, "This baby came out first."29 But he pulled his hand back in, so the other baby was born first. The nurse said, "So you are able to break out first," and they named him Perez.[c]30 After this, the baby with the red string on his hand was born, and they named him Zerah.
