Imin is really starting to
Submitted by Devin on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 07:24.Imin is really starting to grow on me; that night of Lady Sela's murder is still mystery , if Imin Llen and Dasi didn't know Lar's true intentions that day why were they at her cottage? How did they find her? And why didn't they stop Lar from killing her? And why did they take her children?
Did Khara and the boys meet Wulf when Dasi had him?

Submitted by Lothere on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 07:34.I would imagine that Imin & Co. knew that they were going to Sela's cottage for some reason, perhaps to threaten her, or perhaps even to take the babies to be raised among the kisor for example. What actually happened was a surprise to them.
I don't know whether Khara met Wulf. It is quite possible she did. We know Surr and Mash did, since it was mentioned in "Imin brings blood too good to spill".
So it kind of sounds like Dasi brought Wulf home for a while before taking him or giving him back somehow. Omur himself was probably in bed the whole time.

Submitted by Devin on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 07:40.I always thought that if Sela had been living in the castle she wouldn't have been killed and the boys wouldn't have been kidnaped.
Do you think that would have prevented the tragedy?
And now that Aia could possibly be living with either Alred or Egelric I'm a little worried about her safety not only from the kisor but from Vash and his elves.
If four ninja elves like Lar
Submitted by Lothere on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 07:52.If four ninja elves like Lar and his guys wanted to get into a castle defended only by men, they would manage. Egelric's castle doesn't even have a moat.
They wouldn't have as much luck getting into a castle defended by an Osh or a Paul, however.
As for Aia, we'll have to wait and see. I don't even know what I am going to do with her. I am at this "Now what??" point with her. I am sure Egelric will be having the same thought.
Well the only option for
Submitted by Devin on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 08:05.Well the only option for Egelric is to take her in, she is his late wife's sister which makes her his sister in-law and maybe with her there Egelric might bring baby Flann back home. It will be good for Wulf and Gils to have a lady elf living with them Aia is the closest thing to their mother they have left.
I know Imin, Llen and Dasi probably feel guilty about Lady Sela's murder. But Lar well you will probably answer that in the future.
But how is Osh, Paul and Vash going to take Aia living with the men? This is so exciting.
I suspect Osh and Paul will
Submitted by Lothere on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 08:13.I suspect Osh and Paul will not be thrilled. I don't know that Vash is going to care all that much, unless he is worried about her spilling the ugly truths of elven society.
Do you really want a young unmarried lady living with Bachelor Egelric? Trust him?
I trust Egelric, Lili just
Submitted by Devin on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 08:17.I trust Egelric, Lili just died and he wouldn't sleep with Lady Sela's sister. If he's horny why doesen't he just sleep with one of his scullery maids or shepard girls.

Submitted by Sonia on Thu, 02/21/2008 - 13:12.Actually, Imin is quite an intriguing character. We know he's bad all the way through and he'll stop at nothing to get what he wants.
But he's also a grandfather too and quite protective of his family.
But even Imin realises, with the shift in Elf council, that his days are numbered. And he too, along with all the other renegades will have a distinct fight on their hands.
A fight for survival.
Imin does seem very
Submitted by Devin on Tue, 04/08/2008 - 12:34.Imin does seem very interesting; one minute he's this caring doting father and grandfather then the next he's a perve and a rapist.
