What do you think? Should I go with him? Should he come back into Gaethine’s life?

What do you think? Should I go with him? Should he come back into Gaethine’s life?
Well, Gog did imply that the old man may have some love left for Gaethine, but that could be Gog’s own assumption. (He said something similar to Eochaid a few minutes later, about Old Aed: “He’s a gouty old crawker, Eochaid, but he’s still a father.”)
And there’s always the possibility that Augustin will be moved by the fact that time is running out for Gaethine. Hearts can change when deathbeds are involved.
I’m still figuring out where Gaethine’s story is going from here. I mostly got started thinking about his dad based on our conversation in the chat about Lady Maire. But that got me thinking. In the one Gaethine POV we’ve had, his (lack of) relationship with his father still seems to play a big role in his thoughts and feelings. So maybe it would be fitting to do more with that. I don’t think it can mean any good for Gaed though.
Awesome work on the sim and I am certain that whatever plans occur to you for him will be very masterfully done but additional monkey wrenches being thrown at Gaed… What if you set yourself up for a disaster? How is karma spent???
Man, that does look like Gaethine.
I think Gaed was headed for disaster from day one. I don’t see how those two could ever live happily ever after.
I know, I know: Best case scenario = Gaed dies and Aed becomes a cold, hard SOB but I guess there’s suffering and then there’s SUFFERING. And I don’t want to see them suffer the latter!
Ha! I meant Gaeth, not Gaed.
I like him!
Good, because I’m almost certain I’m going to use him.
He looks like he could be Gaeth’s father for sure. But man, does he seem unpleasant! He certainly fits his role! Poor Gaeth!
I vote for “No” unless Augustín has a big change of heart first! (yeah, how likely is that?) Gaeth has enough drama without him, no need to add to that I think.
